About Our School

Through a committed effort involving students, families, educators, and support staff, Automotive High School inspires and supports our students in becoming life-long learners, ethical and responsible citizens, and productive members of the 21st century global marketplace.

By engaging in both cutting edge technical training and a varied, rigorous curriculum in a safe and nurturing environment, our students will be prepared to become independent and critical thinkers.  The young men and women of Automotive High School will become masterful in their ability to adapt their behavior to changing situations, make responsible choices, and show respect for themselves and those around them.

Students attended Automotive with one goal in mind: to be career ready.  Automotive High School was founded 91 years ago in response to a demand to train young people for the work force.  The fact that Automotive continues to exist is a testament not only to our fundamental principles, but also to our ability to change with the times.

We have continuously developed and strengthened our C.T.E. (Career & Technical Education) program, which is the fabric of the school.  Nowhere else in the country can graduates earn a Regents accredited high school diploma and full NATEF (National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation) certification!

At Automotive, we prepare students to become productive members of the global marketplace, and ensure that they become masterful in their ability to adapt their behavior to changing situations, make responsible choices, and show respect for themselves and those around them.

Our Partners

Automotive High School is proud of its many partnerships, through which we are able to provide our students with many unique learning opportunities and experiences, including our NATEF-based curricula, which is Common Core aligned and mirrors skill sets necessary for success in the automotive industry.
